 Please make an effort to travel to your nearest one, share and support as much as possible! All of these rough sleeps are on the same day, synchronised across the country!
Same score as the first one, please bring hot drinks, scoff, doss bag, bivi bag, and a sense of humour. Because this is such a big event, police have asked to not bring alcohol and to act appropriately, I’m sure everyone will but just passing the message on. Please don’t bring dogs as it will turn into a gang****. Also bring spare doss bags/warm kit/scoff to hand out if you want. There will be no collecting money at locations as this could cause legal dramas etc, please direct people to the donation link below.
AT EACH LOCATION THERE WILL BE A POC, please also find whatsapp groups AND event pages next to each location for that location. Join a relative group and select attending so we can gauge numbers and for any further questions. Don’t be offensive in any of the whatsapp groups, potential for media/civvies/VIPs to join them so opsec/persec/don’t be a **** applies

Absolutely no alcohol is to be bought to the event or consumed while taking part in the event. Anyone found to be doing so will be asked to leave.
This is a charity event that is being used to raise awareness of how many veterans are living on the streets in the UK. There is a lot of interest in what we are doing and as such we are in the spotlight which means that everyone attending will be expected to tow the line and not behave in a manner that could potentially discredited our cause.

There is a lot of media interest in this event and we anticipate that there will be coverage on the day. You are obviously free to speak to the press if approached, but any specific questions in regards to what we are hoping to achieve should be fired in the direction of the location POC'S.
We do not anticipate there being any problems on the day, however on the off chance we do face any kind of hostility from the public or those that would discredited what we do, then please hold fire and allow the appropriate authorities to do their jobs. There are individuals out there who would like nothing better than to provoke us into reacting, especially in front of the media, in order to discredit us all. The POC's at each location have direct comms with the local Police and the areas that we have picked for this event will be covered by CCTV at all times.
Even though this event is in support of a charity, absolutely no money is to be collected on the day at individual locations. The charity that has been chosen by FYB UK to receive donations has supplied us with a direct link for this purpose and anyone wanting to donate is to be directed to this link. Specific licences/permissions are required to collect money on the ground and having this link enables us to avoid that particular avenue and will mitigate any potential issues with holding cash on site.
If anyone has any spare kit (sleeping systems, warm kit etc) that they are happy to part with, then please bring along so that it can be donated to organisations that support rough sleepers in the vicinity of the event locations.
For the duration of the event, those taking part will be responsible for their own admin and behavior - it's big boys rules. Don't let the side down.
